Firewood delivered in a wheelie bin!
How does the bin thing work?
For your first order, you'll need to pay a $99 fee for the bin and it's yours to keep for as long as you like. If the time comes when you don't want it anymore, we'll be happy to buy it back off you for a reasonable price based on it's condition.
Whenever you need more wood, all you need to do is place an order for a refill. We'll swing by your place and exchange your empty bin for a full bin.
It doesn't get any easier than that!
Founded in 2019 by Darren and wife Mel, Townsville Firewood started as Darren's side hustle while working as a full-time first responder serving the Townsville community. In 2023, after several years grappling with the all-too-common mental health challenges affecting many in our Emergency Services, Darren decided to blend his love for making the best firewood with a strong desire to continue providing a service that benefits others. Thus, Townsville Firewood (and Darren) underwent some massive changes to become what they are today.
